Hardware MINI6410 is good... runs Android. I want Linux. New 8G SD card formated FAT32, copy the /image directory to SD card edit the "ini" file to read OS=Linux Use SD-Flasher.exe to "fuse" superboot.bin Install SD onto board. Power-up with the left switch (S2) towards the middle of the board (connectors pointing towards me). A little green LED flashes on the right side. red LED lit on back. Nothing happens... 5 minutes. Restart with S2 towards the edge of the board (assume from internal Flash). All I get is Android... What am I suppose to see on the screen if anything. This is probably very simple, but where is the documentation? Virtually every post I see is either utter frustration or some short answer which uses jargon or acronyms. Most answers I see make only sense to people who already know the subject matter. Again, I do know electronics and I do know computer programming, but I am not psychic... what do I do wrong? This might sound like a stupid question but: What is the file format for the SD suppose to be (Linux, Android, CE6)? Is "superboot.bin" suppose to "burn" the SD onto the NAND, or does the card simply boots from SD or from internal Flash depending on S2? Karl
How to get started
There are some small guides on Superboot in forum http://www.friendlyarm.net/forum/topic/1347#6737 http://www.friendlyarm.net/forum/topic/1347#7774 and also here http://www.domodom.fr/spip/How-to-start-with-the-mini6410.html?lang=en
