7" LCD touch screen function not working

Daniel
Hi,

yesterday I have got the mini2440 board with the 7" LCD but something is
not working fine. The touchscreen sends no information to the board. I have
tested the 2440test tool without success. I have also checked all cables on
the LCD Panel.

I have dedected that some resistors are missing on the LCD. For example R6,
R7, R8 and R9 are blank and I think (imho) thats wrong. Can somebody send
me a picture from the back of the LCD?

Can somebody help me with an other idea? But I think I have to change it.

Hi Daniel. I have a 7 inch LCD. There installed R6-R8, but C6-C9
capacitors is missing. I'll send a photo if you tell me your e-mail.
On my board I had a problem with touchscreen too. He works not well, but
works. I've replaced ts with new one and all works fine for now.

Hi Serg_io,

thanks, I think the photo is no more needed. Your statement is enough for
me and encourage my opinion that something is strange related to the LCD.
Today I have sent it back and I hope the new one will work fine.

Btw: C6-C9 are also missing on my board. Every LCD seems like unique ;-)

Hi,

so I have got a new one which works fine, ok not fine but it works.

In spite of using the calibration tool the pointer is jumping around the
touched area. At the top of Display the pointer is a little bit to low and
at the bottom the pointer is to high and so on.

I hope it will be fixed on a newer Linux version.

The other thing is that I can't change the brightness of the LCD, but this
is not the right topic for this problem.
