pblm with touch sensor

Hello,
      I have a problem of using arm2440 development board, that  the mouse
pointer is not moving along with my touch action. It is steadly pointing on
the bottom of the screen only . Therefore i am not able to open any of the
menus shown in the development board. I have burnt linux kernel as well as
windows CE so many times.but still the same problem is existing. Please
reply me very soon , as i am very much busy with that development kit.

I assume you mean mini2440 dev board.

Which touchscreen are you using?

Ya i am using mini2440 dev board .It is interfaced with 3.5" TFT LCD
Type - NL2432HC22-23B
240x320 pixels
But i dont know which type of touch panel is using here in my development
board.

I don't understand your last sentence.  You have the older NEC touchscreen.
FYI it is a resistive type touchscreen.

What happens if you put in this zImage?

Are you trying to compile your own kernel?

Actually i hav burned zImage_T35, which i got along with development kit.
It worked well till last day.I got the problem from yesterday onwards.
Thatswhy, i doubted touchsreen.
Can i try with the kernel you mentioned above?

But, you should be using zImage_N35.  zImage_T35 is for the Topology
touchscreen.
