On the codec part of the circuit diagram (last page) there are components connected to the LINEL and LINER pins which have NC (no connection) terminations on them. My questions are :- Are they connectable anywhere without soldering directly onto the components. Can the line input be selected instead of the mic input in the supplied 2.6.28.6 kernel? Thanks Andy.
NC is defined as "no internal connection". However, today this can not be trusted. Some chip makers have confused the original meaning in English and think it means "make no connection" to the pin and it could internally be GND or Vcc or ???
Hi regnirps As the components - passives - are actually on the board and they are outputs there is no way of knowing without either a track layout or Gerber as we don't actually know if the circuits published are current/accurate. The X at the end of a wire usually means no connection in Orcad... Andy.
