Dear All: I hope somebody can tell me if the Mini2440 with NEC display like this one: http://www.mini-box.com/mini2440v2 has the same dimmensions than the current Topoly board. Thanks for reading.
Mini2440 NEC and Topoly dimensions..
Thanks for your answer. So...the NEC display will fit in the enclosure designed originally for the Topoly?. My main concern is for the bezel.
Yes, the NEC, Toppoly and Sony panels have all the same size, but I dont know if the LCD adapter board is the same...
The device pictured on Mini-box is a Mini2440 from FriendlyARM but is labeled a Mini2440V2, which is a board from Hiteg that uses a different bezel and LCD orientation in landscape mode. Hiteg has an exclusive distributor in the US so I can't understand the V2 (or Mark II) name usage. Which are they selling? Anyway, the NEC and Top and now Sony LCD Panels have slightly different length. The whole module is the same size but the bezels are not interchangeable. The difference is in the non-displaying aluminum part of the LCD panel.
I hope these boards to be FriendlyARM, cause I ordered four of them. I think someone at FriendlyARM should clarify this kind of things. Without their official statement, one only can believe what the retailer says.
Just received the boards from MiniBox. Altought in the page is said them have NEC display, actually the display is marked LCD-X35. The frame dimensions are exactly the same. My problem is now that the BSP has not support for this LCD, and I don't know the parameters (LCD_PIXCLOCK, LCD_RIGHT_MARGIN, LCD_LEFT_MARGIN, LCD_HSYNC_LEN, LCD_UPPER_MARGIN, LCD_LOWER_MARGIN, LCD_VSYNC_LEN) in order to edit s3c2440a_lcd.h file.
