Hello! I've just installed U-boot. I've done 'nand scrub' and 'nand createbbt', partitioned NAND, downloaded kernel and rootfs. Everything was fine on first boot, but next time as I turned on Mini2440 U-boot said: "NAND: Bad block table not found for chip 0 Bad block table not found for chip 0 256 MiB Found Environment offset in OOB.." System is booting fine. But that warning is disturbing. Any idea what could be wrong? I've done everything one more time - and it happened again. thanks in advance best regards Tom
U-boot - Bad block table not found
Ignore it. http://narnia.cs.ttu.edu/drupal/node/131 Most tutorials I have seen show it as well.
Ok. I'll ignore it. But U-boot is creating bad block table - so what happens with it? Why it's gone? thanks in advance best regards Tom
It is either gone OR u-boot doesn't recognise that it is really there! http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/NAND_bad_blocks http://www.friendlyarm.net/forum/topic/200 Search <u-boot bad blocks> on this site, there has been a lot of traffic on this topic.
