can Mini6410 manage two touch panel ?

alko
Ciao,

I wonder if this board can connect and manage 2 touch panels.

if not,is possible to "split" the connector to make board believe that 2
panels are a single big one panel?

if still not ,is possible to enter in contact with someone to speak about a
customization of this board to achive 2 touch panels connection?

thanks

You can use TV output..... just for display
For 2 touchpanals see the datasheet of controller (6410) i dont think its
possible. only one controller.....

Hello Alko,
Do you want to use the both touch panels at the same time ?
I don't understand what you are trying to do...

@domodom

yes I would like to know if it possible to use 2 touch panels

maybe you know libretto from toshiba,is a tablet with a double touch
screen,i would like to use Mini6410 to make a smaller one.

@Usama Masood
yes i think the same but I would like to have a confirmation.

it could be possible to connect the two panels through a "split" and manage
them via software ,the window would be like extended on second panel by
first one and so resolution.

the ideal would be a second connector for touch instead of tv output,but
this means a redesign of the board.

I wonder if friendly-arm would consider a customization for this board.

but maybe a single customer request like this is difficult to ben done.

A touch panel can be viewed as 2 two voltage dividers (one for X, on for
Y), each divider is made with two resistor (whose value depends of where
the touch panel is touched).
Maybe you can try to connect 2 touch panels in series, it should work if
you don't want to use the both touch panels at the same time.
Even if it works, be carefull because the resolution of the touch panels
will reduced by half.

The other solution would be to develop your own board with an external
touch screen digitizer like tha AD7873 for example.
