mini6410: unable to boot from SD Card

chris
Hi,

I just bought a mini6410 board. I tried to boot unsuccessfully from SD
Card.

I used 2G SD Card - FAT32 format, and run SD-Flasher.exe on Windows 7,
relayout it, and fuse it with superboot-20100731.bin. The card was
relabeled into FRIENDLYARM, and the fuse process done successfully.

I plug the card into SD-slot on mini6410, switch S2 to SDBoot, and turn the
board on. According to the manual, I should see a constant blinking LED1,
but unfortunately that is not what I saw.

All LEDs (1-4) are turn-on, and the LCD display show a colorful line
pattern.

Any idea?

try another sd card? 4G or more is better.

chris
Thanks Mindee, I tried another sd card with 4G and it works nicely.
it seems that the board doesn't recognize the 2G SD card.

Dear friends,

Yesterday I bought a new 2 G sd card , and I plug it to my notebook,
windows recognized it, but sdflasher doesn't , I will buy a 4G sdcard, but
all of them is HC type. What do I do? Is your 4G sdcard HC type? Can we use
it?
