1. upgrade the DDR RAM to 256M as the standard from now, the pirce increase
USD 5/pcs.
2. Superboot upgrade:
    - support detecting the RAM 128M or 256M automatically 
    - support burning the biger file(over the size of RAM) into the Nand,
such as ubuntu.
3.  U-boot upgrade: add 4 configurations for  SD/Nand booting, or 128M/256M
RAM 
    - mini6410_sd_config-ram128
    - mini6410_nand_config-ram128
    - mini6410_sd_config-ram256
    - mini6410_nand_config-ram128
4.  Nboot upgrade: two verson for 128M/256M
5.  Add a multimedia player "TCPMP" in WindowsCE6, support
Mpeg4/H.263/H.264 video codec, very nice.
6.  Resolved the issue of touch panel, esp. the bigger touch panel such as
7"LCD. support Linux/WinCE/Android/Ubuntu, 
it need an extra accessories: TouchCom, it's free for the customer who have
bought the mini6410+7"LCD. but shipping is not free.

Why is it for the china market only? We are very interested in that

   I compiled the linux kernel from mini6410 update 2010-9-24 my 7" touch
screen works fine without TouchCom but the usb mouse is not detected and i
have not tested the usb Keyboard coz i have ps2 keyboard. Has anyone
encountered this problem.

And also am not been able to do multimedia-test and tv-test when i enter
these commands nothing happens.

I have the same problem with my mini6410 it does also not regonize any usb
hid device.....

I asked recently if someone had run Ubuntu, but it appears what they are
really looking at is Xubuntu.

Is there a downside to Xubuntu over Ubuntu?  As far as I am concerned if
apt-get works properly and I can download all the applications I want then
I would be happy.

I downloaded xubuntu from Ubuntu repositories. It works like a charm except
the touchscreen. I used the eth0 to connect to Internet and updated apps
using apt-get update. The firefox works in MIni6410 too.

the user name fa is not sudoer. does anyone know the default password for
root user or something that I can do to set password for ubuntu image.

Mindee - I have a 7" panel connected to a mini6410, and it requires me to
recalibrate it every few days. Is this the problem that you have solved
above ?
