1GB Nand partition

Hi,

   I loaded kernal on ram n with help of following cmd i wrote that to nand
  MINI 2440# nand write.e 0x32000000 kernel
 
 but on resting it is not booting up the kernel. but when using
   MINI 2440# nand write.e 0x32000000 kernel
   MINI 2440# bootm

   it is booting up the kernel.

  Can anyone please help me with the steps for creating partition for my
NAND-1GB.
