LCD Problem

Hi,

I recently bought the micro-sdk board and the first time I turned it on,
the LCD flickers a lot but nothing is shown on the screen. I tried with the
switch memory switch set to both NAND and NOR positions, the results were
always that the LCD flickers without showing anything.

Could this be a problem with the LCD ?

Did linux started or do you have any operating system inside? Boot from
NAND there should be preloaded linux with Qtopia.

I tried running it straight out of the box, and was expecting to see
QTopia. But nothing happens. The screen just flickers/flashes a lot, but no
text or images are displayed. The connectors also seem ok.

I am suspecting this to be a problem of the power source, since I am using
5V@0.5A. I am going to try latter with a power source with more current.

Well could be a problem. My mini 2440 with 3,5" LCD take 0,56A in normal
operation. Use power supply with minimum 1A.

Yes, that is exactly what I was told by the shop where I bought the dev
board. Although they said the LCD consumes about 1.5 A, probably a
different model from yours.
