mini2440 + WinCE7

Is there possible to use the mini2440 with WinCE7?

As far as i know Win7CE needs a newer CPU than the mini2440.

The mini6410 will work...

The S3C2440 is based on a ARM920T core which is ARMv4 if i'm not mistaken.

Windows Embedded Compact 7 Public Community Technical Preview Release:
This release supports ARMv6 and ARMv7 architectures. 

Maybe that will change with later releases...

Also found this in the readme:

ARMv4i Architecture Support
ARMv4i support is not available in this release. ARMv5 is the earliest
supported ARM architecture. You can no longer build or deploy to ARMv4i
platforms, including Device Emulator.

My reading indicates that WinCE7 will run on an ARM processor, but...

It will probably require more RAM that most 2440 SOS have > 64MB.

There are a number of manufacturers who report to have it running,
but....(again) they are using newer and faster processors than the ARM9.
