DNW Window Displays in Chinese Language

Hi, 
I have recently bought a ARM9- Mini 2440 Board. My PC did not have any COM
,so I used usb to serial converter to have serial connection with Board .
And USB cable also connected between Board and PC

After Power ON DNW shows connection OK for both serial and USB but I
am getting all communction between PC and DNW window in Chinese Language. 

Note : USB driver was downloaded from Friendly ARM Home Page and installed
in my PC ("FriendlyARM USB Download Driver Setup.exe").

On top of DNW window I get ,[COM4,115200bps][USB:OK]

Could anybody help me to solve this and tell how to make communication in
English ? Please...

You can flash an English supervivi bootloader via JTAG.

maybe its only a transmission error ... i have had the same issues with a
cheap USB to COM converter... i am now using a serial PCIe card.

Hi Tom,
I read FAQ from the link you provided. Check the answer for first question
,it was said to change language from chinese to english.Do you have any
idea regarding which toll/window it was mentioned and where to change.

Hi,
What language do you want to change? The language of the bootloader or
linux? The bootloader language can not be changed. If you are using the
original Qtopia image then the language can be modified in the 2nd tab. The
program has an icon that shows two flags...But maybe it is an communication
error as Andreas mentioned.
