configuring network (DHCP)

Hello!

I'm trying to make network work on Mini2440. I've tried UDHCPC but there is
an error:
"udhcpc (v1.13.3) started
udhcpc: exec /usr/share/udhcpc/default.script: No such file or directory
udhcpc: socket: Address family not supported by protocol"
I've tried to add DHCP to Kernel but nothing has changed.
I have always the same IP (192.168.1.230) and mask (255.255.255.0).

How can I fix it? Is there any other way then configuring it manually?

It should work with dhcpd daemon.

Also you need to configure your network interface in
/etc/networking/interfaces for using dynamic ip address assigned by dhcp
server.

I'm using "Linux FriendlyARM" and don't have "/etc/networking/interfaces".
I've found only "/etc/eth0-setting". Tried tu ose udhcpd but nothing
happend.

yes the same problem is with me too .


I also don't find the path /etc/networking/interfaces in my mini2440 and
instead of that I have /etc/eth0-settings.


So tom please tell me how to get the solution to it.


Actually I have the kernel and rootfs image installed from  the
andahammer.com site

Dear All Trouble Shooters,

I am impressed with the kind of path you have shown to Embsys. I have
successfully installed PPP on mini2440 and connected to PPP server and thus
internet. But when I run openvpn over ppp-network iam getting the following
error, 

TLS negotiation failed to occure within 60 secs (check network
connectivity)

But, I am able to establish connection between openvpn server and client
with normal TCP/IP connection.

Can any one help me in this regard.
