Found quite a bit of traffic about issues with the version of Konqueror that came with Qtopia 2.2.0 on the FriendlyArm. I don't mind improper handling of CSS but would like the zoom button to work, especially on the 25 and 50% sizes. Has anyone had a play with this version or do I need to upgrade to 4.6.2 (and a later version of Konqueror KHTML 3.4?) and hope it works better? Thanks Dave
Konqueror Qtopia 2.2.0 CSS
I've tried to compile newer versions of konq-e, but they need multithreading support from qtopia, so I gave up. I've also tried the fancybrowser example from Qt 4.5.3 and it works, but as it ran as QWServer it ran without virtual keyboard. I'm still trying to get some decent web browser running under Linux on the mini2440. (All I need for my app is that, along with a virtual keyboard, of course, and ADC drivers.) Good luck, Esteban
Esteban, < I've also tried the fancybrowser example from Qt 4.5.3 and it works Qt 4.5.3 was what I didn't want to hear! However, I am OK with the real keyboard. So, by <works> did the zoom button work properly and would it handle most of the common CSS keywords? If so, then I might have to take the Qt 4.6.2 plunge! Cheers, Dave
Hi Dave, Well, when I said it worked I meant it did all one can do with only mouse actions: go to the menu, resize the window...that kind of things. I don't have an external keyboard connected to the mini2440. I hope it really works if that solves your problem. Cheers, Esteban
