Cross compilation on Windows machine

Gerhard
Hello

Has anybody mangaged to compile programs for the Friendly-Arm running Linux
on a MS-Windows system yet?

I tried to ues Dan Kegels cross compiler but if I try to execute a program
on the FriendlyARM like:

[root@FriendlyARM geri]# ./hello
-sh: ./hello: not found
[root@FriendlyARM geri]#

I get the message ./hello: not found.
It seems that there is a problem with the used libraries.

Thank you for your approaches in advance and
best regards

Geri

Only way i managed to do this was using codesourcery's toolchain. Works
fine.

Will work with other toolchains too, i suppose, but maybe i am the limiting
factor there.

Thank you Peter for your information. As I saw this is a commercial
compilation plattform and the personal version costs around 399 $. I would
use it just for fun but as I can see this was exactly I am looking for:)

Please make your life simple.

1. VMware (under windows)
2. linux, toolset
3. Cross compile from linux to FA

Ram is cheaper than development tools, load up your winblow machine with
ram, drop in another hard disk, then VMware linux under windows.

Staying on the same tool chain/ platform as the linux people will really
make you life simple.

you will get a lot of expansion for <$300.
