cross compile u-boot

Hello ! can anybody please help me with cross compiling u-boot ? because i
tried the toolchain provided in the DVD but when i upload it to the mini it
just froze.

I'm very interested also, I tried a few months ago but did not succeed.
I need a last version which supports SDHC MMC cards (larger than 2Gb). The
version which is available seems to be quite old because now the version is
the month and the year or something like this.

Anyway, I took the source of the u-boot available on FriendlyArm DVD, took
the last source available on u-boot website, located the differences and
report the modifications needed in the new version of the source.
I compiled it with arm-linux-gcc but I was facing some issues in the code.

I didn't have a look again.

Is someone interested by using a newer version than the one available?
